Tempest, Thomas Peter
canon, born March 11, 1808, younger son of Stephen Tempest, of Broughton Hall, co. York, Esq., by Eliz., dau. of Henry Blundell, of Ince Blundell, co. Lane., Esq., was educated at Sedgley Park and Oscott, and ordained priest Dec. 21, 1833. He was many years at Grantham, became canon of Northampton, and died Nov. 19, 1861, aged 53.
